2018...the of .....what?

Every year people say the new year is the year of....something.  Or the year to ....something.  I have never done this before but I think 2018 is the year of EVERYONE becoming a better player!  Why do I think that?  Well, why do you shoot league?  If you say it is because you like it then I know you will want to improve.  If you say you want to improve then I believe you.  It all has to do with ATTITUDE.  There are several parts to this "new" attitude.  You must first have the will to become better.  Then you must put that into action.  Develop practice routines if you have a table.  Shoot with your friends on a regular basis.  Ask questions or tips from the better players.  They will all tell you that shooting is critical to becoming a better player but also "knowing" how to shoot will make you an even better player.  Learn strategy.  Watch matches and learn from them.  You WILL get better.  However, there is also one other aspect to becoming a better player and that is through your actions.  Become the person everyone looks up to because you supporther players, shake hands when you win or lose, always want to be better and show it, and NEVER lose your temper or blame other players for YOUR loss.  If you do these things, all of them, you WILL become a better shooter.  I guarantee it.
