2018 Top Shark Tournament

NAPA Tournaments
NAPA OF CENTRAL MISSOURI 2018 TOP SHARK TOURNAMENT

NAPA of Central Missouri holds a FREE ENTRY, LOCAL tournament between Columbia, Jefferson City, Moberly, and Troy each year.  Next year there will be even more cities participating.  The tournament is known as the Top Shark Tournament.

Each player pays $1 a week dues to fund the tournament.  This tournament is FREE entry unless the leagues wants to add to the payouts. The more teams, the more money in payouts. It is to your benefit to recruit more players into NAPA so the payouts can be the highest they can be.

This is to reward the players who play in NAPA and not to reward those players that only play one season and quit.  To qualify for this tournament you MUST play at least FIVE matches a season and TWO out of THREE seasons in NAPA.

Here is the race matrix we will be using at the tournament.  Please note the losers bracket will be a race to two.

Be sure to check in at the tournament desk.  I will be running Jakes and Chad Reams will be running MO River.  We want to try and finish in one day but we will need your help.  Once your match is called go to the table and lag for the break.  Once the match starts no cigarette breaks.  Once the match is finished take the results to the tournament desk so another match can be called.

There will be tournament and NAPA shirts at each location but they will be in limited quantities.  You can purchase online or just let me know what you want and can pick it up at the tournament.

If this tournament gets much larger (and I hope it does), we have three choices:
  • Make it a two day tournament,
  • Have two tournaments a year instead of one which means reduced payouts
  • Change to 9 ball.

Let me know what you think.
