About NAPA

NAPA CAPTAIN'S DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

If you have been a captain before this will seem very easy and familiar. If you are a new captain here are your responsibilities.

1. Recruit a team with no more than 260 skill level on a 4 person team. 325 for a 5 person team and 195 for a 3 person team (see www.napa-missouri.com for details).

2. Bring paperwork received from email (weekly scratch and competition sheet).

3. Home team
a. Determines which bar table to shoot on.
b. Determines which team chooses first player to shoot.

4. Determine which of your players will play. Each player for their game will LAG for the break. The winner of the lag breaks.

5. After entering player info keep score or have someone keep score (W for each game won) and review score sheet for accuracy. Winner can only receive 14 (win but lose one or more games) or 20 points (win every game) + bonus. Loser can only receive 1 (lose all games) or 3 points (win at least one game) + bonus. Bonus is 1 point for each: 8 on the break, 8 ball break and run or rackless match (win lag and every game). Place total in correct column

6. Collect team fee. If you are NOT in the Columbia leauge ONLY put only checks for the fees in the envelope. One person can write a check or each person can write a check but NO CASH. If you are in the Columbia league you can put cash in the envelope and give to me where I am playing, bring it to my house or drop it off at D&D Pub and Grill.

7. Put score sheet from your team and the opposing team in the envelope. Be sure to compare results for accuracy.

8. Put checks from your team and the opposing team in the envelope.

9. Mail the envelope EARLY the next day in the stamped envelope provided.

The team captain should also:

1. Be familiar with the rules.
2. Monitor games for fair play and for player fouls.

NAPA CAPTAIN'S REWARDS

1. Receive FREE entry into NAPA Nationals in June 2013 in Tunica MS at Harrah's CAsino. ($60,000 tournament) if no more than 3 forfeits in season.
2. Receive many thanks from the league operators.
