Announcements:
NAPA is adding a new bonus point to all of our NAPA game formats with the exception of NAPA One Pocket. It's called Table Run and it is going to replace our current "Break and Out" bonus point with a slight twist.
You can now get the "B and O" bonus point regardless if you were the breaker or not! If your opponent breaks dry, you can go in for the kill!.
HERE IS THE NEW RULE: #6.3
- Table Run
- Legally make a ball on the break and legally pocket all required balls to win the game before your opponent gets a turn at the table = 1 point for each.
- If your opponent breaks dry, does not scratch, and commits no fouls on the break, and you legally pocket all required balls to win the game before your opponent gets another turn at the table = 1 point for each.
You will notice the new label "TRUN" on all paper score sheets and in NAPA Play. You will also now see under the achievements section of your standings, "Most Break and Outs" has changed to "Table Runs".
Important dates this month include:
- Mar 26th - Jeff City Singles Awards
- Apr 15th - Troy Awards
- Apr 21st - Jeff City Team/SD Awards
- Apr 22nd - Columbia Awards
- May 11th Laplata Awards
- Oct 8-18 Scotch Doubles Tournament. Details HERE Registration is open!
NAPA Ai will allow scorekeepers to get instant answers to NAPA rules questions, in real time, just by asking NAPA Ai a question on your devices. They are placing the rule book along with an conversational interpreter, right at your finger tips. NAPA AI is ONLY for NAPA Rules and ONLY for Scorekeepers.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. NAPA HQ, sees EVERY question that is asked. Please keep it clean. NAPA Ai is for rules only. NAPA Ai only knows how to answer questions about NAPA Rules and...it will tell you this.

2. NAPA AI is a tool and not an encyclopedia for how to build rockets or tend a garden.
3. At this time NAPA Ai is free and they are hoping to keep it that way. They do NOT want to charge for this. Less abuse = keeping it free.

4. It's very clear and it is right on the NAPA Ai page: "NAPA HQ is the final authority on any questionable answers Ai gives you. If you have a concern about an answer provided, contact your local NAPA League Operator for assistance."
If you use it, let me know how you like it or how it can be improved.

NAPA Flex Scheduling
NAPA Flex Scheduling allows the league to set a day during the week as its key day but players are allowed to schedule your own match times during the week.
For example:
- If your key day as Monday for each week of your session.
- Each week the players will have a scheduled match for Monday, however, you can play their match on ANY day of THAT week. This allows you to schedule your own match times that work best for their busy schedules. Both players have to agree on time and place. It is just like a make up match.
- If the players fail to schedule their matches by the time the next key day arrives (Monday), you can either schedule a make up match, or, one player forfeits.
NOTE:
Flex Scheduling is only allowed to be used in NAPA Singles and NAPA Scotch formats. NAPA Team formats are not allowed to use Flex Scheduling.
